PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KATV) — An Arkansas lawmaker hosted a town hall with her constituents in the Pine Bluff community to update the impact of this year's legislative session. State Representative Vivian Flowers, D-District 65, described to KATV that education is the centerpiece for the state's future. During the town hall, Flowers wanted to provide details of how newly passed laws would impact Pine Bluff residents. Flowers did not support the state passing a permitless carry law. She also said expressed how the state's education system needs improvement and that prison expansion is not the answer.
